Getting Here
The cottage is situated in the village of Finstown, located on the Orkney Mainland. It is approximately 7 miles from the main town of Kirkwall, and 7 miles from the second largest town of Stromness. Finstown offers amenities such as a convenience store, filling station and local restaurant serving meals.
From Kirkwall: Taking the A965 towards Stromness, upon entering the village of Finstown, take the first left on to the Old Finstown Road and then the next right turning up the hill towards Firth Community Centre as sign-posted. From here you will see the chalet sitting up on the hill.
From Stromness: Taking the A965 towards Kirkwall, upon reaching the village of Finstown continue driving, passing by Baikies Stores on your right, slightly further on the public car park on your left, and then take the next right on to the Old Finstown Road, and the next right again to pass the Firth Community Centre.
